Most materials are somewhat transparent. Thickness of completely non-transparent films can be addressed by combining <a href=\"https:\/\/www.novacam.com\/fr\/applications\/non-transparent\/\">low-coherence interferometry with LIBS technology<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>sample sizes:<\/strong> objects from several microns wide.\u00a0 No upper limit.<\/li>\n<li><strong>range of surface shapes:<\/strong> rough, smooth, interiors of bores and small-diameter tubes, exteriors of cylinders, concave or convex spherical shapes, filaments, thin tubing<\/li>\n<li><strong>static or moving surfaces:<\/strong> rotating or spinning objects, web inspection, in-tray inspection<\/li>\n<li><strong>material states:<\/strong> solid, liquid<\/li>\n<li><strong>sample temperature:<\/strong> from cryogenic to very resolution &lt; 5-75 \u00b5m, axial resolution &lt; 0.5 \u00b5m<\/li>\n<li><strong>Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&amp;T) parameters<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>3D surface characteristics:<\/strong> including shape,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.novacam.com\/fr\/applications\/rugosite\/\">rugosit\u00e9<\/a>et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.novacam.com\/fr\/applications\/volume-loss\/\">volume loss<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>material thickness:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.novacam.com\/fr\/applications\/lepaisseur\/\">thickness of single or multilayer films<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>long profiles<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>index of refraction<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>vibration measurements:<\/strong> vibration frequency and intensity, shaft eccentricity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note that while the NOVACAM LCI-based metrology systems are able to acquire 3D geometry (GD&amp;T), roughness, thickness, and defects, specific client applications typically require the system to be optimized for one or two of these turnkey data analysis solution with InnovMetric PolyWorks Inspector<sup><small>TM<\/small><\/sup><\/li>\n<li>measurements can be output as 3D point cloud, height image, intensity image, or STL file format<\/li>\n<li>system output is exportable to turnkey integrated third party CAD packages selected by the client, such as:<\/li>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>CAD\/CAM software: PolyWorks, Geomagic, SolidWorks, Creo Elements\/Pro (Pro\/ENGINEER), etc.<\/li>\n<li>Imaging, visualization and numerical analysis software: ImageJ, Octave, MatLab, Mathematica, IDL, IGOR
